I'm in the Canadian Embassy's April Newsletter!

The Canadian Embassy wrote a feature about me in their monthly newsletter.  :)

You can read it here.

You can go to this page, and in the top right corner there's a spot where you can subscribe to the newsletter.

Also, on the right side of this blog, under the "helpful sites worth checking out" category, you can find a link to the Embassy's page of information about coming to Korea to teach English.  It's a pretty good primer that touches on the most important points without getting over-long.

Canada has their own embassy?!

I thought they just got a closet in the basement of the US Embassy.

Congratulations! You know you've made it (or seriously 퍽드어프) when someone in your embassy takes notice.

Wow! There you were, just two stories below Yuna Kim! Nice picture, too, by the way. I like the analogy of ocean waves. Bet, in your plans to be a novel writer, you never thought you'd be famous first as a blogger!

You guys have your own currency? When did they allow states to have independent currency... Canada lucky 51.

It's because we have oil. And Pamela Anderson. Supplying NHL players used to give us a lot of extra bargaining power, too, but these days that doesn't count for much. We're trying to get Canadian kids interested in Nascar instead of ice hockey, to regain our leverage.
