1. one of the coolest compliments I ever received:
"Rob is the thinnest person I've ever met who likes food as much as he does."
2. when a narcissist like myself googles his own name, he might discover...
I have a namesake: another Rob Ouwehand, who is a prog-metal guitarist in the Netherlands. Here's what he sounds like.
Here's what he looks like.
And here's a funny song about another person who likes to google himself. (warning: mature content)

What's the story behind that photo, anyway? It's hilarious.
:)
Jeanie was a bit of a suck: she'd cry over anything, and my policy was to ignore kids' crying until they stopped, so that they'd learn that the way to get my attention was to STOP crying, not to start.
Well, Jeanie had been separated from her class somehow, and got frightened, so I brought her back to the class. She was crying, so I thought, "if you can't beat'em, join'em". Her teacher, whom I was leading her back to, had her camera ready, and snapped that shot.
So have you ever heard of this guy?

I think I may have been friends with the prog rock guy in high school. ;)
When I google me, I mostly just get a whole lot o' me. Plus some references to Carrie Underwood.
I like that that second comment was four minutes later, after you took some time to google yourself.
Wow, I googled "Caryn Siler" once and I found this really sketchy looking girl in Iowa who draws really bad anime in her spare time. Your "Rob Ouwehand" is way cooler than my "Caryn Siler."
My best namesake has a domain name, and some really awesome photography:

When I google my maiden name, I get myself, and only myself (besides other Ouwehands who mention other people named Rebecca on the same page).
