one of my biggest annoyances about proprietary rights and such is that, while a lot of other artists see how making their stuff available on Youtube is good, free publicity which could increase your exposure, Michael Jackson's videos are all embedding disabled, and Prince (maybe my favorite artist of the '80s) won't share.

I *loathe* lipsyncing.

I couldn't really give a rat's ass when talentless nobodies like Ashley Simpson do it on live TV, but someone with the star power and chops of Jackson should be above it. Not a criticism of Jackson specifically, but of the practice in general.

If I pay money to see a live performance, it had better damn well be LIVE. I can listen to Memorex at home. I've demanded refunds from venues who have not provided such live shows before.
